چکیده
To ascertain the potential of various leguminous biomass such as L. leucocephala, C. proliferus, P. alba and S. sesban, both energetic a source high added value products, pyrolytic behaviour was studied at different heating rates by using analytical method thermogravimetric (TG), isoconversional Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose (KAS), determination some thermodynamic parameters pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS). It concluded that leucocephala or proliferus are more suitable for pyrolysis since less energy is required to degrade them, evident in final stages degradation which sesban present very activation energies calculated KAS. All produced volatile compounds with phenol content peak maximum hemicellulose, most heavy derivates derived from lignin, ferulaldehyde methoxyeugenol, because sufficient has not yet been provided break down structure. At this it can see furans saccharides case higher C5 its composition. A wide range were detected cellulose, produce short-chain give rise bio-oils whereas, especially alba, addition, quantity levoglucosan d-allose (4.73% 13.94%, respectively).

Investigation of Pitch Stabilisation Using Pyrolysis-gas Chromatography-mass Spectrometry
Oxidative stabilisation of mesophase pitch is well known to severely limit the dimensions of artifacts formed from it or, for slightly larger artifacts, to be time-consuming and costly (Gallego, Edie, Nysten, Issi, Treleaven, and Deshpande, 2000). Control and understanding of this step is of very great interest in the production of highly oriented graphitisable material as it could lead to a dr...
متن کاملPyrolysis-gas chromatography-isotope ratio mass spectrometry of polyethylene.
Polyethylene is probably the most used plastic material in daily life and its accurate analysis is of importance. In this communication the chemical structure of polyethylenes is studied in detail using conventional analytical pyrolysis (Py-GC/MS), bulk stable isotopic analysis (IRMS) and pyrolysis compound specific stable isotopic analysis (Py-CSIA) to measure stable isotope proportions (δ(13)...
متن کاملPyrolysis-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry of Polymeric Materials
Structural analysis and the study of degradation properties are important in order to understand and improve performance characteristics of synthetic polymers and copolymers in many industrial applications. Polymers/copolymers cannot be analyzed in their normal state by traditional gas chromatography (GC) because of high molecular weight and lack of volatility. However, by heating these macromo...
متن کاملMemory effects in compound-specific D/H analysis by gas chromatography/pyrolysis/isotope-ratio mass spectrometry.
Compound-specific analyses of lipid D/H ratios often encounter ranges of 300 per thousand or more, and experiments using D-enriched water to study fractionations often extend the range up to 1000 per thousand. Here we show that for such large dynamic ranges in D/H ratio, isotopic "memory" between adjacent peaks can be significant. Memory effects have not been previously reported for GC/P/IRMS s...
متن کاملDifferentiation and characterization of Klebsiella pneumoniae strains by pyrolysis-gas-liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Nine coded duplicate strains of capsular nontypable Klebsiella pneumoniae were analyzed by pyrolysis-gas-liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. All duplicate strains were correctly matched, and individual strains, including seven nontypable strains, were clearly distinguishable from one another. The addition of mass spectrometry to the analysis has aided the process of identification and has ...
